All children in Key Stage 1 (Years R, 1 & 2) are entitled to a free hot school meal each day, these are known as Universal Infant Free School Meals (UIFSM). You don’t have to apply for this entitlement. In addition, families on low incomes or claiming certain benefits may be entitled to benefit-related Free School Meals.
