Mrs Becky Hayter
Headteacher
Mrs Becky Hayter is our Head Teacher and she believes that our school is a truly wonderful place to be. She has been at Bathford School for seven years and has taught Year 2, Year 6 and been our Deputy Head Teacher. Mrs Hayter studied English and French at Oxford University and has lived in France and Luxembourg. Before she became a teacher Mrs Hayter worked for two of the ‘big four’ professional services firms.
Mrs Jennifer Keenan
Deputy Head Teacher & SENDCO
Mrs Keenan is our Deputy Head teacher and SENDCO (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator). Prior to this she taught Classes 2 and 6 at Bathford. She leads the school in delivering the Thrive programme which we use to support our children’s social and emotional development. Mrs Keenan loves to be outdoors and is a keen hockey player.
Ms L
ynette Baily: Year 5 Teacher
Ms Lynnette Baily is our super teacher in Year 5. She has taught at Bathford Church School for many years and has a lot of experience in Years 4 and 5. Ms Baily loves linking children’s work to creativity, especially art. Miss Baily is our subject leader for English and she helps to support the school with reading, writing and spelling, punctuation and grammar (SPAG).
Mrs Esther Hinde: Reception/ Year 1 Teacher (Mon, Tues & Wed)
Mrs Esther Hinde teaches three days in Reception/ Year 1 with Mrs Keenan. She has taught many other year groups as well and is an expert on all things ecological. She works brilliantly with our school councillors to help the school save energy and is the subject leader for Science. Away from school, she can often be seen on her tandem bicycle!

Our Wraparound Club staff:
Billie runs our Breakfast Club which is open from 7.30am to 9am each day as well as our After School Club which runs Monday to Thursday from 3.15pm to 6pm each day. Billie is qualified to work with children and enjoys engaging with them and leading creative activities. Good use is made of our outdoor area, weather permitting!
